Are we ready for ZDTV?

Local community activist Zuma Dogg says that he has found a financial backer and that he is going to be creating TV commercials that bash on the City Council incumbents just ahead of the March elections.

Oh yeah. This should be good.

I can only imagine City Council members cringing when they hear this news.

Do we really need this many clowns on City Council?

Just how in the hell did we end up with so many bumbling clowns on our City Council?
Who is voting for these pinheads?!!

Among the low-lites on Council last week....

Richard Alarcons addiction to Middle Eastern Hummus caused a voting foul up. Alarcon said " there was a logjam at the hummus container" and he could not get back to his seat in time to vote.

The Cat Whisperer Paul Koretz says he accidentally voted the wrong way and asked to change his vote to a "No".

The embattled Councilman from CD 14, Jose Huizar, voted no, then yes, then no again on a DWP issue at hand.

Janice Hahn proposed an oil tax, but then the refinery operators in her district told her to shut up.

Because of the nature of the votes on these ballot issues, with many votes going 8-6, 7-7, and 8-7, all of them might get thrown out in some future legal action because of the status of currently indicted Councilman Richard "Fredo" Alarcon.

I never asked for the criminals Alarcon and Cardenas to be voting on things that concern my future.

And, as a side note...I think some of the staffers at City Hall need to be fired.
Each Council Member gets to hire 15 staff members. How is it possible these staffers can't read the days agenda and prepare crib notes for our "challenged" Council Members, telling them which way to vote on every issue??

The Dark Lord has some issues, too.

I sent him an email 315 days ago ...still waiting for a response. Evidently, he has no staffers who understand how to use a computer.

I "refudiate" the Los Feliz Ledger

Over this weekend, I was less than thrilled to see the semi-hatchet job done on me by the Los Feliz Ledger editor Allison C. Ferraro. However, I wasn't surprised, either. This is just what the media does... it distorts things for their own personal entertainment. It is just part of the hassle of being involved in politics. I acknowledge this and I accept it.

In my previous runs for office, I had always responded to requests for interviews with professional courtesy.
I appreciated the fact that a certain media venue (whether a newspaper, TV or radio station) was willing to give me some airtime to contact voters and spread my message.

I think I have since learned a valuable lesson that these media sources are not always interested in facts.
Billionaire Warren Buffett once commented on his refusal to do interviews that "the most dangerous person, outside of a professional assassin, is a reporter."
In the future I will probably be refusing all interview requests.
It is easier to get a clear, undistorted message out from the internet through Facebook, Twitter, or other social networking sites.

Ms. Ferraro can criticize my wearing a suit to the interview, but what would she prefer I wear, a swimsuit?
Ms. Ferraro was lazy and unprofessional. She scheduled an interview at a restaurant conveniently located only 100 yards from her office, yet still couldn't be on time for the meeting.
She didn't record the interview, and took very few notes. I guess this is why she made so many errors. Memory will only get you so far. 80% of what she said is correct, but that also means that 20% was wrong.
She did get a few things right, however.

Jan Perry is "The Hamburglar" for stealing the freedom of 9th District residents to enjoy fast food.
Paul Koretz is "The Cat Whisperer" for his nonsensical ban on declawing cats in Los Angeles.
"The Dark Lord" or "Voldemort" is Councilman Paul Krekorian.
No explanation necessary.

I don't remember saying about Tomas O'Grady: "O'Grady, I am not interested in your Eco-Warrior views!"
Although to be honest, it isn't too far off from my actual feelings about that type of stuff.

Ms. Ferraro revealed herself during the interview to be somewhat of a fan of the above-mentioned Eco -Warrior Tomas O'Grady. She made several pro-green and pro-environment comments during the interview.
She criticized Tom La Bonges plans for growth in Griffith Park, which let me know that she was a NIMBY, too.

I also didn't like a few other things. She had some type of strange need to practically call out my address in the article. Luckily, she forgot to let burglars know exactly when I wasn't going to be home.

After I decided to drop out of the race over the signatures issue, she called me in a bit of a mood letting me know that I had messed up her paper. The print issue had my story on the front page.

In her online follow-up to the story, she quoted several things that I think were inaccurate. She also never asked for permission to use that information, which she received over the phone.

And to top it off, the first comments were from loony local stalker Mary Cummins. Nice.

The Los Feliz Ledger has been nicknamed the "Los Feliz Liar" by some of the others in the blogosphere.
Ms. Ferraro let me know that she doesn't care for that nickname, but now I see why she got it.

Her newspaper is free, yet most people are not interested.
Kind of like her writing.

Watching Sarah Palin's Alaska

I count myself among one of the 5 million viewers who tuned in to watch Sarah Palin's Alaska on The Discovery Channel. (Well, technically, I recorded it on DVR and watched it later.)

In the series viewers have had the chance to see Sarah Palin and her family members go fishing, watch grizzly bears and whales, go skeet shooting, mountain climbing, and halibut fishing.
My thoughts on the show....

1) I really like the opening credit theme song "Follow Me There" by the Christian rockers Third Day.

2) I think the show is nice casual entertainment and exposes more viewers to Alaskan culture. I thought it was nice to see a normal family doing very adventurous things.

3) Sarah is down to earth and unpretentious.

4) This show will only help her popularity should she decide to run for President in 2012.

Additional memo to Democrats and other Sarah-Haters:

You underestimate this woman at your own risk. She has taken on large challenges in life and has repeatedly been victorious when others dismissed her chances. Over 5 million people tuned in to watch her show ... because they like her.

You couldn't get 5 million people to watch a show about Mitt Romney if you paid them.

Did the marijuana community get their revenge on Cooley/Nuch?

During Thanksgiving dinner I had some interesting political conversations with people who are active and knowledgeable about Los Angeles City politics.

One of the subjects that came up was Steve Cooleys disheartening loss to Kamala Harris in the Attorney General race. It is still a sore spot for me, because friends of mine in that campaign had a wonderful opportunity to do some great things up in Sacramento. Now, it appears, that will not happen.

Some of the dinner guests brought up an interesting tidbit. Proposition 19, the marijuana legalization concept, went down to defeat. Surprisingly, many people in the marijuana community voted against it, becuse they felt it was poorly worded and wasn't the right way to do things. Some of the dispensary owners and distributors voted against it because they felt it put their business model in jeopardy.

However, from what I am told, the medical marijuana activists got out there and blasted out hundreds of thousands of emails to their contacts to tell them to get out there and vote against Steve Cooley and for Kamala Harris.

So, the question remains. Did the marijuana community get their revenge on Steve Cooley? And in a roundabout way, did they also get revenge on Carmen Trutanich? Trutanich was a pretty safe bet to run for and win the District Attorney seat that was going to be vacated with a Cooley victory.
Did the marijuana crowd beat a path to the polls to get revenge on "Nuch"?

I don't know...but I am hearing things...

The two facts don't seem to go together. If marijuana haters voted against 19, wouldn't those same people also vote for Steve Cooley, (who was far superior to criminal-coddling Kamala Harris) ?

I think it would be a good idea for some of the major media to investigate this odd duality of results in this election.

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Here is a photo of President Bush serving Thanksgiving dinner to the troops.
It shows a love and respect for our men and women serving us abroad.
It is behavior you don't see from the Manchurian President.

Meg Whitman : The GOP Destroyer

I'm a bit angry about how everything went down in this election cycle in California.
Meg Whitmans poor performance in the Gubernatorial race may have sunk every Republican candidate all the way down the State ticket.
As of the writing of this blog, Attorney General candidate Steve Cooley is about 50,000 votes behind Kamala Harris and things are not looking good.
That's just great.
Now we can have a death-penalty opposing, illegal immigrant-coddling Socialist in our top spot for legal enforcement in California. The inmates will be running the asylum soon, it appears.

Why did Meg Whitman have to run for Governor and destroy our chances statewide?
I don't know.
Egomania? Delusions of grandeur?
She was choosing to run against Jerry Brown, the pre-selected Democrat who had already served as Governor of California, so he didn't have to argue his qualifications for the job. He had already done it.
A dangerous opponent, indeed.

Sure, Whitman had a lot of money to spend. That impressed some people.

Not me.

So Whitman got lucky working at Ebay when internet auction sites didn't exist.
When Ebay took off, she made a fortune in stock options.
But so did 100 other CEOs when the internet exploded and became an influential force in the American economy. It didn't make them great political leaders with vision, integrity, and character.

Whitman was a unprincipled RINO. She stood for nothing.
That meant she would compromise on anything once in office.
Not my type of leader. Not the right leader for our party.

Whitman also had a horrible record when it came to political involvement.
28 years of not voting? Are you kidding me?
That shows hypocrisy and an incredible lack of character.
Voters smelled a loser and Whitman got beat. Badly.

I place part of the blame on the California GOP.
The CA GOP needs to analyze every race in advance and try to figure out how to get good, solid principled candidates with strong resumes to run in elections.

Our candidate for Governor should have been someone with a long history of being elected to sequentially higher offices. Not a hobbyist who decides that being Governor would be "fun".

Sarah hints at her plans for 2012

LaBonge coasts to victory

City Councilman Tom LaBonge is probably going to coast to an easy victory in this March election.

One thing making it a little easier for him is that I won't be involved.
There will be zero Conservatives in the race. Sad, but true.
CD 4 voters get to choose from a pack of liberals.
Most likely, they will go with the devil they know.

I'm leaving the contest for financial reasons.
I don't have a lot of money and would be unable to spend on the mailers needed to get my message out.
In my previous two runs for office, I never asked anyone for money.
I hate doing that.
I hate people asking me for money also, but I still get those letters in the mail from Sharron Angle, the NRA, the RNC, etc...

Also, I was having trouble getting the signatures done, being as I have a job and have to work most of the days available to pursue signature gathering.

The haters at Mayor Sam will be happy.
Without my posts there and without me running for office, they will have to find someone else to abuse.

Good luck to Stephen Box, Tomas O'Grady, and Frank Sheftel. I wish them well.

He did it!! Villaraigosa stops global warming!!

As of the writing of this blog it is 53 degrees here in Los Angeles. The difference maker?

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
The man who defeated me in the 2009 Los Angeles Mayoral election.
( A fact I have to live with for the rest of my life! )

Yes, the man that I often deride as being incompetent and criminally intentioned, has saved the world.

Imagine my embarrassment.

It is probably a good thing that I wasn't elected Mayor in 2009.
Los Angeles might have been incinerated by now, I'm afraid.
I would never have signed any documents that made it clear that I thought that I could control the weather.
I believe that seasonal temperature changes come from fluctuations in the earths travel around the sun.
Call me a Luddite.

Ultra liberals like Joe Barrett and Joseph Mailander have to be basking in the glow of this historic achievement. Finally, their full faith and belief in Big Government has been rewarded!

I'm going to put on my Wisconsin sweatshirt and go run around outside and enjoy the cool temperatures.

Antonio Villaraigosa has saved the world. Who could ever have imagined this day would come?

Euphoria, glorious euphoria.

Congressman Mike Pence on the Presidency

Congressman Michael R. Pence of Indiana addressed registrants of the Federalist Society's 2010 National Lawyers Convention on Friday, November 19, 2010.

This is a fantastic speech by Pence, who may eventually become our next President.
He is widely admired in Conservative circles and was one of the best speakers at CPAC in February of 2010.

Pence is very impressive, and while he is not at the top of my list (Gov. Rick Perry of Texas is my top pick), he is rapidly climbing up my rankings into the top 5 for 2012.

I believe he will announce soon his campaign for the Presidency.

If Perry doesn't run, I may join Team Pence.

Krekorian in theaters nationwide today!

For those of you who are interested in dark entertainment, you can plunk down $14 in theaters nationwide today to see the celluloid version of the embodiment of pure evil. A demonic, powerful force driven to destroy everything he sees, Lord Voldemort has returned.

For those of you who prefer the live-action version, you can also stop by Los Angeles City Hall and see City Councilman Paul Krekorian at work in City Council chambers.

For my money, the Krekorian version is more frightening.

The quote from Krekorian in the Times article that chills my blood:

"This is an important source of revenue that we should be taking" , said Councilman Paul Krekorian.

So, regardless of the fact that big oil companies spend billions locating, extracting, refining, and transporting petroleum products to market, the little Communist Krekorian feels he is entitled to steal more of their money from them.... because he is an elected official.

I've said it before. Krekorian is Voldemort. He always has been.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

In other news ....

I've been thinking about doing a big interview with Zuma Dogg and Matt Dowd about their fight for freedom against Los Angeles City officials. I don't think street performances at Venice Beach are really a big deal, but the bigger story here is an aggressive, outrageous City government that feels they can shred the Constitution and dictate every detail of the lives of others. On this issue, I'm with Dogg/Dowd.
Good luck to them with their recovery in their lawsuit judgement.

I've also been hearing about the dirty politics going on in CD 14 right now. No, not from Red Spot/Scott Johnson. I'm tight with some big players in the District and what I'm hearing is incredible. Bribes, threats, extortion, corruption. It would make a great movie. It seems that Jose Huizar is terrified of losing and the shadowy forces who support him are offering all types of free candy to people in CD 14 to re-elect him. Some of the offers I've heard would be very difficult to turn down.

Great news today for freedom lovers in Los Angeles. The street performers who arrive on Hollywood Boulevard every day to entertain visitors have been victorious in court. A Federal judge has squashed the freedom-stealing City of Los Angeles and declared that these street performers have protected First Amendment rights. I'm not sure their street performance is actually speech, but my general guideline is that if they aren't bothering anyone, then leave them alone. If someone gets too aggressive with a tourist, then deal with it on an individual basis. Don't punish everyone for the acts of one bad apple.

I knew a guy named Max who played Batman on Hollywood Boulevard. He asked people for a $5 tip for posing for a photo with them. They didn't have to pay him, but most did. One day I talked to him at Shelleys Cafe and saw him counting his money. It was August and he had been busy. He had made over $500 that day.

It made me think that I'm in the wrong business. I don't make half that much every day.

Cards ready. Time to hit the Campaign Trail!

My new business cards are ready in my fight for the 4th Council District.
I give Tom LaBonge a good smack right off the bat.

I'll tell voters about how he raises their taxes and fees so he can retire a millionaire.
Voters don't like hearing about that.

Time to hit the campaign trail and get those signatures on my petitions.
I have a few people who have agreed to help me, because I want to get that part out of the way.
It's a headache for candidates. Nobody enjoys it.

A Conference of Rivals

Big news for our readers as TJR announces some exclusive information for those who follow Los Angeles City politics. I have initiated contact with most of the other candidates who are running for City Council in Council District 4. Why did I contact my rivals? Let me explain....

It all started with an email from Mark Staufer, the campaign manager of Tomas O'Grady, who had suggested we get together in a friendly manner before the campaign begins. I thought it was a nice gesture and suggested we expand the idea to include the others running for the same spot. He quickly agreed.

My first phone call to Tomas O'Grady started out a little prickly, as Tomas had not enjoyed some of the critical comments I had made about him in the media, including here at TJR.
"Fair enough", I said in response, but I quickly explained to Tomas that as a City Council candidate, he is going to face a certain amount of criticism during the campaign. Not just from me.
I told him not to take it too personally. It's just a part of politics.

We smoothed things over and spent time talking about what we face in common: a battle against Tom LaBonge, a member of the entrenched, protected political class. A man who will earn several million dollars in pension money from the taxpayers of Los Angeles.

We agreed that incumbent Council Members are rarely defeated and that it might be a good idea for all the candidates to turn their fire on Tom LaBonge, instead of each other. We thought a conference of rivals with a strategy session might be a good idea. O'Grady graciously offered to host it as his home.

Most of the candidates have been contacted and have agreed to this meeting.
Should be interesting. Kind of like the scene in the movie "The Godfather" where the five families hold a meeting to discuss their grievances.

I would like to state publicly that I have no grudges against any of the other candidates.
While I am trying to defeat them, I do not view them as the primary enemy.
They did not help bankrupt this City. Tom LaBonge did.

And I would suggest to all the candidates who are trying to unseat a sitting Council Member that a conference of rivals in the other Districts might also be a good idea.

If the meeting goes well, maybe I'll throw in my best Brando impersonation and say ...

"And let me say... that I swear upon the souls of my grandchildren....that I will not be the one to break the peace we have made here today."

The Cat Whisperer at work

Sources who attended the Friday Los Angeles City Council meeting tell me that I missed out on a Hallmark Moment.

The Cat Whisperer (a.k.a. City Council Member Paul Koretz) was doing his superhero imitation and saving all those precious kitties all over LA.

Moments after Herb Wesson stepped to the podium to introduce a dog that needs to be adopted, The Cat Whisperer went to work and played with a little kitten. Koretz was seen holding the kitten under his chin and petting it. (Kind of like Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers movies.)

I guess voters could watch the whole scene on Channel 35.

I hope David Vahedi is saving all this video.

"The Horror. The Horror."

This video shows why people in Council District 4 need to vote Tom LaBonge out of office.

To prevent future displays like these....

3 new challengers for The Dark Lord

Lord Voldemort (a.k.a. City Council Member Paul Krekorian) was looking forward to an uncontested run to another term as City Council Member for Council District 2... an area he carpetbagged into from Burbank in a naked act of political aggression and hypocrisy.

After having just been elected to the State Assembly from the Burbank area, Krekorian gave his voters the old middle finger salute and took off for the more comfy confines of "The Horseshoe" in the Los Angeles City Hall Council Chambers.

I had been a bit depressed that no challengers seemed interested in facing him, but now I have new hope.

Community Activist Michael McCue, Businessman Augusto Bisani, and Disability Advocate Ayinde Jones have all filed papers to begin the preliminary process of challenging Krekorian in the March Primary election.

I'll be happy to give detailed profiles of all of them when time allows.

It will be extremely difficult to stop the Dark Lord, but I am glad that they are trying.

Non-Veteran Irishman grandstands on Veterans Day

Tomas O'Grady, an Irishman who seeks to become a Los Angeles City Council Member in 2011, decided to make Veterans Day his own issue, even though he never spent a single day in our Armed Forces.

As a Veteran myself, I find his grandstanding and political opportunism a little offensive.

O'Grady is supported by a former Marine named David Weiss.
The L.A Times says that Weiss lives in Newport Beach, California.... about 45 miles from Los Angeles.

Interesting.

I live in Los Angeles, but I don't feel the need to go traipsing down to Orange County and telling the City leaders in Newport Beach how to run their city. I wonder why Weiss feels the uncontrollable urge to meddle in Los Angeles politics.

This You Tube video, which starts out talking about Veterans Day, eventually reveals itself to just be a campaign ad for O'Grady. One that is in poor taste, I might add.

A TJR Exclusive: Sheftel to enter CD4 race!

The Jennerjahn Report is proud to announce a multimedia exclusive.
Phone conversations have confirmed that former CD 2 City Council Candidate Frank Sheftel will arrive at the City Clerks Office tomorrow to file his paperwork to run for City Council against Tom LaBonge in CD 4.

Sheftel is the owner of The Candy Factory in North Hollywood and also owns the Toluca Lake Collective, a medical marijuana dispensary.

Sheftel has hinted that there will be explosive revelations about Tom LaBonge on the campaign trail.

(Sheftel and LaBonge have a history of conflict over Sheftels dispensary, which is located in CD 4.)

Stay tuned for more details -- only available at The Jennerjahn Report.

The Chosen Generation

I saw Judge Andrew Napolitano speak at CPAC in Washington D.C. in February 2010. I didn't agree with everything he said there. In particular, I didn't care for his hateful attitude towards Dick Cheney and the cheap shots he took at him.

However, Napolitano and Ron Paul, for all their faults, are right about one thing.
Our freedom is under attack.

When Barack Obama uses the power of "gangster government" to decide which automakers will survive and which ones will fail.
When Nancy Pelosi and her thugocracy declare by fiat that you -- the average citizen -- must purchase a health care program that they themselves find too offensive to participate in.
When criminally incompetent Barney Frank decides that the American taxpayers must pay billions for the mistakes made by government bureaucrats who decided to bungle around in the mortgage market.

When all these things happen, then yes... our freedom is under attack.

We are a chosen generation.
We must defend freedom.

The future of the world depends on it.

I'm in.

Count me in for the 2011 City Council Election. I'll be trying to take out part of the entrenched political class.
Tom LaBonge has been lurking around City Hall for 20 years. And what good has that done anyone?

Other notes.....

I'm glad to see that the "Little Rooster" Herb Wesson has five challengers already. On the first day!
Clearly, his voters aren't feeling well represented.

Tamar Galatzan is back for more. She's famous enough from her run for CD 2 that she will probably easily be re-elected. Even though she's a lefty, I like Tamar.

My buddy Joe Essavi is making a run for the Board of Trustees. I wish him all the best.

"Big Money" Mitch Englander was a no-show on the first day to declare, although I have no doubt he will make an appearance.

Bicycle Boy and Eco-Warrior in CD4 didn't show up either. But I am sure they will, also.

I don't like my name being so close to Krekorians on that City Clerk document.
I feel the pull of his extremely Dark Magic.....

Voldemort sighted!

The Dark Lord himself was seen making an appearance at the Los Angeles City Clerks Office this morning.

Unlike his other previous visit, there was no temper tantrum, profanity or intimidation.

In fact, Krekorian seemed completely calm and in control.

It was unnerving for me, as I sensed that he has used the power of extremely Dark Magic to gain control over the minds of the innocent voters of the Second Council District.

It is unlikely he can be challenged, much less defeated.

His power grows.....

Monday is Declaration Day for City Council

Monday morning I have to be downtown to legally declare my candidacy for City Council with the City Clerk.

I hope to get there early.

Maybe I'll get lucky and experience another Diva Moment from Paul Krekorian!

Wish me luck.

70,194 Dangerous Enemies of Freedom....

... voted for Communist Agitator Carlos Alvarez to be the Governor of California!

And with more mail-in votes being counted, that number might rise to 75,000. Maybe 80,000.

Carlos Alvarez was one of my opponents in the 2009 Mayoral Election.

Alvarez is an admitted Socialist, but it would be more accurate to call him a Communist rabble-rouser.
If you see the above photo, he's fond of showing up at street protests to incite angry mobs.

His incendiary rhetoric during the Mayoral campaign including a lot of Socialist demands.

Full employment. No cutbacks on Social Services.
Free education, free health care.
Invalidate Prop 8. Legalize Gay marriage.
Cut funding to and disarm the LAPD.

With all this nonsensical rhetoric, it's easy to see why he finished near the bottom of the Mayor's race and finished dead last in the Gubernatorial election of 2010.

I mentioned before in a previous blog post that Carlos Alvarez is no threat to anyone as a political candidate. However, if there is ever a violent breakdown in society -- some type of revolution or chaos -- then dangerous people like Carlos Alvarez are the type of people who come to power.

70,194 votes.

That's an army of Socialists that would fill 3/4 of the Rose Bowl.

It gives me the chills just to think about that.

Steve Cooley ahead of Kamala Harris

Latest information from the California Secretary of State has Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley leading San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris in the most current election vote count.

I won't go all "Joe B. crazy" until the final tally is in. But things look good and I am optimistic.

Liberals will save us from Happy Meals!

I love the line about "San Francisco City-County Culinary Police"
Chilling that it is not far from the truth.

American voters reject Socialism, California voters display stupidity

It has been a rough few nights for me since Election Day. Let's get to the damage....

Overall, I was quite overjoyed at the massive success of the Republican Party nationwide.
65 seats in Congress is the beginning of the end for the Obama Agenda.

Congress can now launch investigations into the criminal behavior of some of those on the left.
Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters...etc, etc... the usual suspects.

2010 was only the first wave. Republicans will retake the Senate in 2012 along with the White House.
American voters have woken up to the fact that electing a Socialist as President wasn't such a hot idea after all.

(A Socialist steals your money and assets with a vote at the ballot box. A Communist steals your money and assets by pointing a gun in your back. All Socialists are just Communists who haven't started to use real force yet.)

I am ecstatic that some solid leaders are headed to Washington.

I was totally crushed by the fact that voters in California continue to display stupidity.
Criminals are routinely re-elected here.

I wasn't distressed by the loss of Meg Whitman. I had never supported her and didn't vote for her.
Thankfully, this spells the end of the short political career of that RINO.
She managed to drag Carly Fiorina down with her. I doubt the two will be friends in the future.

My lock pick of the night, Steve Cooley, a far superior candidate for Attorney General, is struggling, and might actually lose if the mail-in ballots don't cover his 1% election night deficit.

And voters in the 28th State Senate race rejected my friend John Stammreich in favor of Jenny Oropeza, who is currently six feet underground. Only in California.....

It wasn't a good night for all Republicans

Last night the voters of America rejected Barack Obama and rejected Socialist government intervention.

It was a tidal wave of red as Republicans flipped the House, winning over 60 seats.

However, it wasn't a good night for everyone.

I saw this business card for James Andion laying on the street as I walked to my polling station.
I thought it was a unique piece of symbolism.

Andion was defeated by Socialist Karen Bass by a 86-14 margin.

After losing a 2006 Congressional election to Linda Sanchez by 66-34%, James Andion carpetbagged into District 33, where he got beat by 72 percentage points.

I really don't understand that type of thinking.

24 hours until big GOP Victory Party

24 hours from now the Republican Party will be celebrating.

Voters will return control of Congress to the adults.

Obama's incompetence is a primary reason. The high-spending and corrupt Democratic leadership is the other driving force in this election.

And Sarah Palin said today "it's possible" that she might run for President.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day for me.

It's going to be difficult to make it to all the election parties that I'm invited to attend.
